ETHIOPIA, THE LAND WERE THE GODS AND GODDESSES LOVE TO BE

Blessed Love,

JAH RASTAFARI

    This page I wrote about my trod to Ethiopia (Ghana) in 2005-06, this trod-in was such a vital part of InI movement towards Repatriation and self growth. Ethiopia-Africa (Aethiopia) is the land where the Gods and Goddesses love to be. Aethiopia is a place thats been on my mind for too many a years, there is not a single day that goes by that InI don't meditate Aethiopia. Our only Aim and Objective down here in Rahab and Babylon is 7, 9 or 13 miles of High Water Ships to take Us home to the Land of Our Birth. This we MUST accomplish whether by Earthquake, Earth tremors, Lightening, Thunder, Tornado, Sunami, Vulcano Lava  flow, Heat Wave, Landslide, Avalanche, Hurricane, Quicksand, Tidal Waves, Flash Floods, Wild Fire, Snow storm, Frost Bite, Plagues and diseases, famine and pestilents or by the works of Man hands.

      I once heard a brethren said that " I would prefer to go to Africa once, than have to hear about it a thousand times ". I got so tired of hearing people tell me of Africa even people that aren'nt even African, to the point where I had to Trod to Ghana, West Africa.  This I had to do to fill a void I had in me at the time, one day I got up and book tickets for myself, my Empress and my two little angels Jah gave me to be their caretaker ( Princess Afia and Prophet Samson ).

     We left Pearson International Airport - Toronto, on the 31st of December 2005 heading to Accra, Ghana through Amsterdam- Holland. The whole preperation and departing was so emotional, I don't think I'll be able to find the words to explain the feelings, and even if I did find the words am sure it wouldn't  be the same as going through it oneself.  The entire trip over I just couldn't wait to meet Honourable Priest Michael Bonnick, who has been in Aethiopia since 1992.

     Just before the plane touched down at the Kotoka International Airport, InI blocked a reverence to give Jah thanks for the safe sojourn and all things, a person can only imagine how I must have felt to hear the Captian says " buckle all seatbelts, get ready for landing ",HOLY EMMANUEL I SELASSIE I JAH RASTAFARI !!!!!!!  After the plane landed, I just couldn't wait to go outside and put my feet on the " Soil of my Birth ", now as you can imagine by now I really didn't care too much about what anyone had to say about me and my behavior, I was overwelmed with Joy, Aethiopia is really full of Joy Songs. Then the door of the aircraft was opened and everyone started to disembarke, then we all had to go down the steps - the closer I got to the bottom step it felt to me like the first time I went to Our Headquarters at 10 Miles, Bull Bay, it actually felt like taking one step at a time towards God Almighty. Then Finally my feet touched the soil it hadn't touched in almost five hundred years, the feeling I felt cannot be described, it has to be experienced, JAHOVIA JAH RASTAFARI.

    Shortly after our arrival, I realised that there isn't much difference between Norman Manley International Airport - Kingston, and Kotoka International Airport - Accra Ghana. The hustlers were there just the same pulling on our bags and stuff, one even stole my cell phone, oh yes, believe it or not. After clearing customs I  was  pushing  my  luggage out, all of a sudden I  turned a sharpe corner and was greeted by a  brethren who said " Blessed Love My Lord ". All the way in Africa I was greeted with a Royal Salute - JAH RASTAFARI.

     Finally we got to the house we were going to stay, the Brother we stayed with was very welcoming to us. Africa felt no much different from Jamaica, except you can feel a sense of Freedom you never feel in the west. There was no starving children like you see on the " one eye devil " ( TV ). Infact Ghana really is a " food basket ", Ghana is a land of cassava, peanut, plantain, banana, cocoa, ackee etc. and a whole lot of Love. Everywhere we went we felt loved, I remember a day we went to a craft market and about  twelve brothers gather around us to play a welcome home song for us. They drummed and sung for us to the point were I had to literally fight back  tears,  I have never felt so welcomed  in  my entire life.

 I  have always  heard the  saying " Africa awaits its creators ",  which is Africa awaits her children that were plucked from her bossom, InI in the Diaspora. When you go to Ghana you can feel from the people that they are anxiously waiting for us to come home. I remember a day I went down to Labadi beach in Accra, and I was just sitting on a bench meditating when all of a sudden a family of about ten people came and sat right next to me. They were dishing out food for themselves, next thing I know  a plate of  rice and chicken ( sicking ) was offered to me. I kindly accept their gesture of kindness with a Heart of Love, but had to explained to them that I don't eat chicken ( sicking ). This is just to show you my reader that in Africa, people don't really of to know you to be kind to you.

  Shortly after arriving in Ghana, I started to notice all the negative stereotypes about Africa disappearing. Hon. Prophet Samson told me that he was talking to a friend back in Canada, and the young man asked him if when the plane landed  if he saw any lions. most people think of Africa not having any modern amenities, but that is very far from the truth. Now at the same time am not going to paint a false picture of Africa to give a false sense of the realities in Africa. After hundreds of years of being raped and plundered, Africa today is in a state of unstability, but is nothing that can not be fixed. If all of us just sit down and prepare to stay in Rahab and Babylon and give all our strenght and energy to the Beast, Africa's problems will never be  fixed . But if we ( Africans at home and abroad ) decide to return or even to give our strenght to the cause of Africa's upliftment, we can see Africa back on top in no time. JAH RASTAFARI.

  The entire Continent of Africa is Ethiopia and not just only our Crown Head State, thats why Jah always use Ethiopia Africa.  Africa for the africans at home and abroad, from Cape to Cairo and from Ghana to Kenya. HOLY EMMANUEL I SELASSIE I JAH RASTAFARI. Africa Redemption is a MUST saith the Black Christ, Mighty Jahovia Jah Rastafari. In the time of Africa's Redemption not even a white bird can fly over Africa.

I've reached the land of corn and wine,
And all its riches freely mine;
Here shines undimmed one blissful day,
For all my night has passed away.

    O Beulah land, sweet beulah land,
    As on the highest mount I stand,
    I look away across the sea,
    Where mansions are prepared for me,
    And view the shining glory shore:
    My Zion, my home for evermore.

My Saviour comes and walks with me,
And sweet communion here have we;
He gently leads me by His hand,
For this is Zion's borderland.

A sweet perfume upon the breeze
Is borne from ever-vernal trees;
And flowers that, never fading, grow
Where streams of life for ever flow.

The zephyrs seem to float to me
Sweet sounds of Zion's melody,
As angels with our white-robed throng
Join in the sweet redemption song.

TROD TO ELMINA CASTLE

 Blessed Love,

                             King Haile Selassie I shall break every chain  and set all captives free, Holy King Selassie I Jah Rastafari !!!!!!!

                             No trod to Ghana will be complete without visiting the " slave " castles. I was told that at one point in Ghana's history there was as much as 50 slave castles up and down the coast of Ghana ( Gold Coast ), today theres only a handful  remaining. Elmina castle was the first fort built in Sub-Saharan Africa, by the Portuguese ( Poltergiest ) to rape and plunder our Motherland. Elmina Castle was erected in 1482 as the first trading post on the Gulf of Guinea, its believe that the castle was first erect for trading goods but later serves as a stop over point for  kidnapped Africans enroute to the Caribbean ( Carry we beyond ).  Somewhere along the line these " Poltergeist " were no longer interested in  gold, instead they got interested in " Black Gold " - InI.

Teddy1006.jpg

                               The word Elmina is Portuguese for " the mines ". At one time Ghana was known as the Gold Coast, Ghana was first plundered by the Portuguese ( Poltergeist ), then the Dutch ( Dust ) followed by the British ( Brutish ). And am going to make it absolutely clear that pretty much every country in Europe had a piece of Africa colonized. Prophesy and History has already recorded all the atrocities committed on us in Africa, am not going to elaborate on them all because if I should the World Wide Web would need an infinite amount of megabytes or better yet lion bites for me to write.

                                The day I visited the Elmina Castle was the saddest  for me in Ghana, obviously we were assigned a tour guide whose job it was to conjour up all the memories of slavery in me. First he took us through some dungeons and some holding cells, in no time I had to excuse myself from the tour, find myself a little corner and broke down crying. I then pulled out my pocket Bible and read Psalm 2, while I read the tears from my eyes fell on the pages, JAH KNOW !!!    But I know those tears didn't fall in vain, HURRICANE Rita & Katherina  upon Louisiana, JAH RASTAFARI !!!

                                 Here are some pictures I took the day I visited the Elmina Castle. I'll just comment on the few pictures I posted. Again there is really nothing more that I can write on the atrocities done in Africa for the past 2000 years that hasn't already  been written in Prophesy and History.

     Teddy1007.jpg

                                  This is a picture of a Portuguese church within the Castle grounds.  The inscription above the door reads " Portuguese church ". This is supposedly the oldest European church in West Africa. The irony of this church is that it sits above a female slave dungeon which could hold as many as 400 females at anytime. On the inside of this church is a quotation that says " this is the only place in Africa where God dwells ", how pathetic.

                                  These atrocities were committed in the name of GEEZAS, these atrocities were sanctioned by the churches in Europe, FLAMES & FIRE. The white men who came to Africa were not outstanding citenzens in Europe, they were murderers, rapists and thieves. They never came to Africa with wives and children, so you can only imagine the degree of rapes that took place in these castles. Even the Governor of the Fort had a secret door in his bedroom floor that leads to the female slave dungeon. On any given day the Governor would tell his soldiers to bring out all the females to the court yard for him to choose which one he wants to rape in the night.  Obviously these females lived in the most filtiest of conditions, with no proper toilet facilities etc, one could only imagine the stench that would be coming from these dungeons, considering that every bodily  secretions  would have to be done same place in the dungeon.  Even after a hundred years you can still smell the horors that took place in the dungeons. Anyways, the Governor would have his soldiers get the  female he chosed for the night ready, then they would lead her up through secret stairs up to his bedroom where he would rape her. After he was through he would hand her back over to his soldiers and they would inturn rape her more. JUDGEMENT!!!   Only pregnancy could have prevented such a woman from being sold into slavery. If she was found to be pregnant, she would then be released back into the community to be ridiculed.

        PICTURE OF A HOLDING CELL

 EZEKIEL CHAPTER 37

                                           Now, this is a picture I took of a punishment room. This room was for any African that was sentenced to die, sometimes for the simplest of reasons such as, not co-operating with the soldiers. Sometimes too if you were just too big and too bad, you would be placed in this cell and left there to starve to death.

Teddy1008.jpg

                              Sometimes more than one Israelite would be placed in the cell, and that 2 to 3 inches thick door would not open until everyone starved to death. I asked my tour guide to lock me in the cell just to get a feel in this time of what I had to go through hundreds of years ago,  first off when that door closes the cell becomes pitch dark, I could hardly breathe in that cell, it felt very wierd and even outright  scary in that cell. At times it sounded to me like there was voices crying in the walls. The " SKULL & BONES " above the door tell you exactly what that room was used for and today I see Black people wearing " SKULL & BONES " on their clothes like nothing.

Teddy1009.jpg

                            This picture I took outside of a so-called " MALE SLAVE DUNGEON ", the look on my face is not that of a happy camper. At that moment if I could I would catch Satan, lock him in a box and throw away the key for eternity. JAH RASTAFARI.

Teddy1002.jpg

                  (  THE DOOR OF NO RETURN )

                                     This is a picture of the so-called " DOOR OF NO RETURN ". A kidnapped African could have stayed in the castle for as long as it takes to catch a full shipment of Africans, that wait could be as long as up to three months. This door was the final door you would go through to awaiting ships to be brought into slavery never to see Africa anymore. This door was constructed so narrow that even if you wanted to gang rush your way out you just couldn't, the door is alittle over a foot wide to prevent more than one person going through at a time. I stood at the so-called " Door of no return " and held the bars, I Man blocked a reverence to JAH the Almighty God to " look upon our pains and our afflictions " at the hands of the evil white world, and prayed for the speedy Redemption of the Black Race at home and abroad. HOLY EMMANUEL I SELASSIE I JAH RASTAFARI. When I stood there I said  " I thought the wicked said this was the door of no return, but I man mek it back - I man return home " JAH RASTAFARI !!!!!!!
